eMavio respects intellectual property rights. This page describes how to submit a DMCA notice or counter-notice.
Copyright respect
eMavio respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement.
How to submit a DMCA notice
Send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:
1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent. 2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed. 3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its URL on eMavio. 4. Your contact information (address, telephone, email). 5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized. 6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
Repeat infringers
eMavio will terminate the accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers.
Designated agent
Send notices via the [Contact page](/contact) and select "DMCA notice," or by postal mail to the address listed on our Contact page. Notices not meeting DMCA requirements may not receive a response.
